Trip to Pune

One of my friends shared a video which showed what are the things worth spending money. Travelling, was the answer. If you spent 3k on a weekend trip with your friends it will be more worth and memorable than most of the materialistic thing. Living in Hyderabad gives us a lot of opportunity to plan small weekend trip. After lots of discussion and debates, Pune, was our destiny.

Getting a confirmed train ticket under tatkal quota is like achieving a grand feat in India. But lucky us  ,we had a confirmed ticket in shtabadi and all was set for pune. Excitement of our journey started from our home itself. We had to catch the local MMTS and only ten minutes were left. But none of our friends was ready to drop us there. So we thought we will park our bike at station for two days. In hurry we picked up the keys and ran straight away. My friend tried to unlock the motorcycle, but key  was jammed in. Attempted once again for same result. After wasting 3 precious minutes we realized this is not the right key instead in haste I got my friend's bike keys. Shall I get my bike key? I asked. No shouted my friend, lets go by this one only. Kicked it and accelerated it and there we were going for Khandala and Lonavala. But world doesn't work the way we plan. There was no local train on platform, we missed it cried one of my friend. I enquired has the train left , station master replied "MMTS band today, Hyderabad band., no bus, no local train. Now it was a grave problem. How we will reach railway station to catch Shtabadi. We hailed an auto and asked him can he drop us to Begumpet railway station? No sir, today is "band", police will tow my auto. We flagged down another auto, his response was quite unique , Sir I can go but my auto doesn't have diesel. No diesel, no problem we have 3 petrol pump nearby you don't worry about that, replied one of my friend. Sir today is band no petrol pump is open for fueling. It was heart breaking.

So that seems to an end of our going to be awesome voyage. And we decided to go back to our home. Before going at least eat something, said one of my friend. There was a cart full of bananas, we bought one dozen, eating them while walking back to pavilion. But, destiny had other plans for us and an auto came and stopped nearby us. "chalte kya bahiya" utterd the auto driver . Ofcourse!!!! we 4 jumped in and auto rushed through the empty roads of Hyderabad.

Finally , we reached to station after paying 5 times more amount than amount in normal days. As soon as we reached on platform, we saw shatabadi moving away from us. Our heart stopped beating, it was running fast and we were not able to catch it. We missed our train ,with disappointment on our face we were walking back, when someone told us that don't worry  this same train will return  after dropping all the passengers at next station.  Words of joy.

For time being we waited and enjoyed tea and samosa.
